Akebono(EXOS-D) Science Data Base This science data base is produced by the Akebono science team and released through the ISAS Plain Center. The data base consists of processed data from all instruments onboard the Akebono (EXOS-D) satellite for every 8 seconds and the orbit information. Those who are interested in using the data base are strongly recommended to consult with the respective principal investigator(s) in order to assure the proper use of the data and to avoid confusion due to misunderstanding of the data. On publishing scientific results obtained from this data base, the author(s) are required to include the reference listed in read_me for each instrumentation and the following acknowledgement ; "This work has been carried out by the use of Akebono SDB released from the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS), the sponsoring agency of the Akebono mission, with important support from the National Institute of Polar Research (NIPR) and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA)." Also requested for the author(s) is to send a copy of preprint to both the management of Akebono project and respective principal investigator(s). Any comments or suggestions which arise on use of the data base are encouraged to send to "akebono.sdb@gtl.isas.ac.jp" Prof.Koichiro Tsuruda Manager of Akebono Project, ISAS, 3-1-1,Yoshinodai, Sagamihara, Kanagawa 229, JAPAN (Tel +81-427-51-3911 ext.2501, Fax +81-427-59-4236) October 1,1996
