Electron Spectrum Analyzer (ESA) onboard Planet-B will measure the electron enegy flux in the ra nge of 12 eV to 15 keV. This electron measurement will provide significant information for studies on the structure of magnetosphere and ionosphere as well as information on paritcle acceleration and the wa ve-particle interaction processes around Mars.
