Ion Spectrum Analyzer (ISA) onboard Planet-B will measure the ion energy flux in the range of 10 eV to 20 keV per charge. This ion measurement will provide significant information for studies on the structure of magnetsphere and ionosphere as well as particle acceleration and the wave-particle interaction processes around Mars.
